Myself Yash. Yash means success. The reason why this name was given
to me because I was born on an auspicious day of Dashera.
I
am born in a family where sport is treated as a very important aspect
of life. Hence since my childhood I have been exposed to all sort of
sports. I played Cricket, Soccer, Tennis and also I did Swimming. I
chose Tennis as my life sport simply because I enjoy it and I am
passionate about it. I play competitive Tennis. My dad is my coach
and my mum has equally supported me in tennis. I have traveled to
Spain to train at the Rafa Nadal Academy. I also won the Golden Ball
tournament at the Rafa Nadal Academy.
I went to Girraween
Public School. I represented my school at the State Tennis carnival
in Queensland. I was the school swimming champion for 3 years. I also
represented my school at the regional Swimming carnival. For high
school I went to The Mcdonald College because I wanted to pursue my
passion and balance my education at the same time. The following year
I moved to The King's School to achieve the same purpose along with
the character development and the co-curricular activities. At King's
I am in the top Tennis team. I represent my school team in the AAGPS
(Athletic Association of the Great Public Schools of New South Wales)
competition. I have achieved good UTR (Universal Tennis Ranking) in
Tennis. I am also a part of the Cadet Corps (Army) Program. I look
forward to learn, develop and build a good character at King's School.
I love traveling and exploring new places. I have traveled to
Melbourne, New Zealand, Switzerland, Italy, France, Singapore on
short holidays. My life so far has been wonderful, filled with
sports, fun, adventures and good times with family and friends. I
look forward for the exciting future ahead of me.
Tennis is my identity, it gives a lot of motivation and positive
energy to me. I learn great lessons in tennis that help me everyday.
I feel very proud of myself the way I play tennis , the way I compete
and how I handle the success and failures in tennis. I’m deeply
involved in this sport. I’m working hard to improve my fitness to get
physically stronger and mental abilities to deal with difficult
conditions and pressure situations. Apart from the trophies and
medals that I have won, I believe the biggest achievement is that I’m
developing into a disciplined, committed and determined individual.
I‘m working towards developing a winning attitude, courage and
confidence.
I am an elite player at GenZ Tennis Academy. I
have taken up a job as an Assistant Coach in the academy recently. I
really enjoy doing this job because I not only get paid but I also
learn that help me develop my game. I'm awaiting my coaching
accreditation.
Basketball is a much-loved sport all across the world. It is popular
because it can be played as a competitive sport or a casual game on
the local court. I have learnt playing Basketball when I was young
but I started enjoying this sport recently in high school. It not
only compliments Tennis but it also is a great way to work out as it
involves using your entire body. It is a fast-paced game that
involves a good amount of jumping and running which is a fantastic
way to exercise.
My interest grew in Basketball since I
watched the web series 'The Last Dance' on Netflix. After I watched
the series I went on to the Basketball courts in front of my school
house and I started shooting hoops. Slowly I started playing
Basketball with my mates at school and whenever I get time my best
friends and I go to our local court to play.
Programming has become essential part of life. These days every
aspect of day to day life involves programming. It was obvious for me
to get exposed to programming as my dad being an IT professional. My
dad tried to teach me programming language when I was around eight
years old. Although I was very fascinated about it but honestly I did
not understand anything. My dad realized that it was too early for me
hence he stopped it.
In the second attempt though I started
grasping and also started showing interest to learn the technologies.
It has been two years that I am continuing the programming classes. I
started with Java basic concepts and now I am learning web
technologies. I'm really enjoying it. It feels really great to bring
your ideas to life. I am a part of "Being Skilled" program conducted
by GenZ IT Solutions. This website is the first outcome of this
initiative. I'm excited to work on mobile technologies.
